YOUR letter, enclosing an account of the receipts and disbursements of the Taalûk of Loll-ghurry, has been received, and what you have therein stated is understood. You say, “that the Aumil of the aforesaid “Ghurry has absconded, and desire that a new Aumil and Kilaadâr may “be sent from the Presence.” It is known. But how is it, that the said Aumil should have absconded without cause or motive?* You must enquire very particularly into this matter, and report the result to us.
