YOUR letter, congratulating us on our [late] victory over the enemies of the faith, and accompanied by a Nuzr of twenty rupees, has passed under our view. It behoves all Mussulmans humbly to address themselves to the Almighty Presence, and to implore, that the forces of the accursed may be always confounded and disgraced, and the army of Islâm be always victorious and triumphant.
