WE have, at this time, assigned the Foujdâry* of Adoni to the charge of Kûtbûddeen Khân. The aforesaid Khân, in conformity with the orders of the Presence, will keep one or two respectable persons established at Kumr-nugr,* for the purpose of collecting together [or recruiting] horsemen, &c. Let that kind friend [therefore] enjoin his principal officers* to be assisting to the persons deputed by the afore­said Khân, in order that no one may obstruct this business. What more?
