DIRECTING him to employ the Kumâties, or labourers, belonging to the fort, in erecting habitations for the Ahmedies; to attend, in due time, to the provisioning of the place; to write his Urzies [to the Sultan] conjointly with the Kilaadâr; and to examine carefully into all affairs relating to the fort, as business was in progress, that made attention necessary in all things, great and small.*

Ordering him, finally, to make his written instructions the rule of his conduct.
