LETTER CCIV.
To the actual and future AUMILS of our Ports [in general]; same Date.
(16th January.)

BE it known, that we have remitted four-tenths of the duties, levied in our ports from time immemorial, on all goods to be bought or sold [there], by the refuge of commerce, Mâo Saith, son of Râo Saith, Dullâl of Muscat: you will, therefore, demand from the agents of the said Dullâl, six-tenths of the ancient duties, and no more. Consider this as a peremptory order.
