LETTER CXXXIV.
To GHÛLÂM HYDER; same Date. (12th October.)

YOU write for instructions, with regard to the prices at which you should buy certain articles for our use,* in order that you may regulate your purchases accordingly. Old age has certainly made havock on your understanding, otherwise you would have known that the Mûtusuddies here are not the proper persons to determine the market prices there. It is the Mûtusuddies there, and the instructions given to them on this head, which should be referred to on this occasion. Seek the necessary information from the Dewâny Kuchurry, and act accordingly.
