REIGN OF AULÂD BIN ASHKÂN.

He waged war against the Ashkânians, deprived them of their possessions, and became sole king. He made the same arrangement with the Mulûk-ut-touâif which Ashak Bin Ashkân had entered into, and reigned twenty-three years. In the Târikh Ja’fari it is narrated that in his time all nations became idolaters, and that the Almighty sent Jarjis [Georgius] to them.
