KHOSRÛ BIN BALLÂSH BIN NURSI BIN HORMUZ.

He was a prudent sovereign, but so uxorious that he did not spare even his own sister. It is said that he built a palace seven stories high, and that he took his seat in the uppermost of them, where he caroused, and from whence he precipitated criminals to the ground. One day he ate treacle, and died from purging. Some assert that he reigned forty years. Sirjân was built by him. In the Târikh Ja’fari it is stated that the event of the seven sleepers occurred in his time.
