AFTER offering subserviency and submission it is represented to my father, my refuge, and my hope, over whom may the Almighty extend his protection, that I am in a state of health and welfare: may that angelic person be under the protection of God! I was honored by the arrival of your gracious letter; and the attention you paid me out of your favor and great kindness is the cause of much gratitude, and many acknowledgments.
God grant that the eminent dignity of that place of my Kibleh may be long spread over the head of his dependants.
