The Shahná,* called in Persian Surná.

The Mashk, or bagpipe, is composed of two reeds* perforated according to rule and attached (to the bag). It is called in Persian Nai-ambán.

The Murli is a kind of flute.

The Upang is a hollow reed a yard long, the upper part of which has a hole in the centre in which a reed is inserted.

THE SEVENTH is Nrityádhyáya, or the art of dancing.
