His name was Abdu'l Malik, son of Abdu'l Ghafúr. He was the disciple of Shaykh Muḥammad Ḥasan. By the direction of his master, he received various instruction under Shaykh Muḥammad Maudúd al-Lárí. He died on the 12th Rabíi' II., A. H. 958 (20th April, 1551).
