Was the son of Shaykh Aláu'l Ḥaḳḳ. His true name is Shaykh Núru'ddín Aḥmad-b-O'mar Asạd, and he was born at Láhor. He was the disciple and vicegerent of his eminent father, who received the vicegerency from Shaykh Akhí Siráj. He in some degree attained to the knowledge of the Ineffable Mystery and became a mystic of exalted degree, as his works and some of his letters, in themselves, testify. Shaykh Ḥusámu'ddín Mánikpúrí was his vicegerent. He died in A. H. 808 (A. D., 1405), and was buried at Panḍuah.
