Sulṭán Muḥammad Khudabandah sent the author of the Jámi'ut Tawáríkh-i Rashídí on an embassy to Sulṭán Ḳuṭbu'ddín, son of Sulṭán Aláu'ddín, and a close friendly alliance was entered into between them.
