WE have received your letter, representing, “that if of the two “Dufturs,* attached to the Ehshâm Kuchurry, one be transferred to “the Dewân Kuchurry, the consequence must be, that while the accounts of the latter department cannot be completely and properly “kept [with such incompetent assistance], neither can the business of “the former be rightly managed [by the remaining one].” It is known. Whatever is written in your Hûkm-nâmeh [or instructions], do you act conformably thereto. Too much self-conceit is needless.*
