AT such times as new levies, or recruits, for the Jyshe and Piâdehs are to be entertained [or taken into the service], you two, and Syed Peer [the Kilaadâr], assembling together in the Kuchurry, are [to be mind­ful] to entertain none but proper and eligible men. You are also to take a muster of the men some time since admitted into the Jyshe, by the aforesaid Kilaadâr, and dismissing such of them as shall [appear to you to] be unfit [for the service], allow him pay for those only who are fit [to be retained].
