Ṭāhir Muḥammad “Nisyani” ibn Ḥasan Sabzavārī Tattavī, Mīr fl. ca. 1014/1606

Mīr Ṭāhir Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan Sabzavārī Tattavī (who composed poetry under the pen-name “Nisyani”) was of a family from Iran that emigrated to Tattah, Sind. His father at one time served as a governor in the Gujarat district during the reign of Mughal ruler Akbar. Ṭāhir Muḥammad, more inclined toward scholarly matters, worked in the service of Mirza Ghazi Beg Tarkhan who was the Governor of Sind from 1008/1599 to 1018/1609. His exact date of death is unknown.
