Tārīḫ-i Hindī is a general history of what is now India divided into ten sections and extending to ca. 1154/1741-2. The work devotes much space to the rule of Muḥammad Šāh and also provides some information on the shaykh’s and poets who were Rustam ʿAlī’s contemporaries.
