ʿAbd al-Karīm Kašmīrī ibn ʿAqibat Maḥmūd is mostly known for the work Bayān-i vāqiʿ, also known as Tārīḫ-i Nādirī or Nādir-nāmah. He died in 1198/1784.

Personal memoirs and observations of contemporary events extending to 1198/1784 or 1199/1785. Topics include the author’s travels to Baghdad and Mecca, the times of Muḥammad Šāh and his successor Ahmad Šāh, and the invasion of India by Nādir Šāh, at which the author was present.
