According to the sources cited in Storey, Tūrān Šāh was the first of three rulers of Hurmūz named Tūrān Šāh and either ruled from 758/1357 to 788/1386 or from 747/1347 to 779/1378. Šāh-nāmah-yi Tūrān Šāh is a work in prose and verse on the history Hurmūz.
