Historian

Mīr Ṭāhir Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan Sabzavārī Tattavī (who composed poetry under the pen-name “Nisyani”) was of a family from Iran that emigrated to Tattah, Sind. His father at one time served as a governor in the Gujarāt district during the reign of Mughal ruler Akbar. Ṭāhir Muḥammad, more inclined toward scholarly matters, worked in the service of Mīrzā Ghazi Beg Tarkhan who was the Governor of Sind from 1008/1599 to 1018/1609. His exact date of death is unknown.
