Sarūp Čand Ḫaṭṭrī is the author of one known work, Ṣaḥīḥ al-aḫbār. Ṣaḥīḥ al-aḫbār is a general history of India extending to the author’s own time (ca. 1209/1794). Ḫaṭṭrī compiled the book for Šīr John Shore, Governor-General of India.
