Muḥammad Fāżil Ḫān

Ḥāfiẓ Muḥammad Fāżil Ḫān worked in the service of the East India Company in Bareilly. He was sent by the British on a secret mission to Buḫārā in order to compile report on the power of the king and the general living conditions there. He completed a report on his findings ca. 1227/1812 under the title Tārīḫ-i-Manāzil-i-Buḫārā.
