Amīr Ḥaydar “Amīr” Ḥusaynī Wāsiṭī Bilgrāmī wrote several works on the Persian language concerning its rare words, syntax, and the formation of Arabic words in the Persian language. Additionally, he wrote a biography of Mughal Emperor Akbar extending to the 24th year of his reign (987/1579–80). He died in 1217/1802–3.
