LETTER LVIII.
To MOHYÛDDEEN ALI KHÂN; dated 28th BEHÂRY. (11th June.)

YOUR letter, on the subject of the revenue accounts of the Huwaily* and Taalûk of Ali-Nugr (depending on Guramcoondah), has passed under our view, and is duly understood. You must examine the accounts of the said Taalûks in the strictest manner, and apply yourself diligently to the realization of the revenue. On this occasion, you must flog, without favour or partiality to any, all such persons as, adopting the practice of ingratitude, have defrauded the Sircar. By this means, let the payment of our dues be enforced.

N.B. The rest of this letter is omitted as immaterial.
