Muḥammad Amīn ibn Dawlat Muḥammad Ḥusaynī came from Iran and entered the service of the military governor of Ahmadagar some time during Jahāngīr’s reign (r. 1014-37 /1605-27, see author 110). His only known work is ʾAnfāʿ al-aḫbār. ʾAnfāʿ al-aḫbār is a general history from the earliest times to the time of the work’s compilation during Jahāngīr’s reign in 1036/1626-7. The work is divided into ten sections. The last section is devoted to a history of the Mughals and some contemporary accounts of the author’s own times. The author’s date of death is not known.
